From the Mané-Katz Museum one does see the magnificent views of Haifa’s Bay, but the main thing here are the beautiful exhibits. The artist Mané-Katz (1894-1962), was a member of the Expressionist School of Paris (Ecolé de Paris). The Mané-Katz Museum is housed inside the artist’s former home, where he has lived and created. Alongside Mané-Katz’s works, which include hundreds of oil, gouache and pastel paintings, as well as drawings, one can find at the Mané-Katz Museum various collections that the artist has collected during his lifetime, which provide the visitor with a varied and fascinating artistic experience. Thus, for example, one can find here figurines from the Far East, toys from Europe, carpets, antique furniture and more. Among the things that one can find here is also a unique Judaica collection. The Mané-Katz Museum was inaugurated in 1977, renovated in 2010 and opened in its new format in the beginning of 2011. Today one can find at the Mané-Katz Museum magnificent spaces which serve as a respected stage for the artworks that are presented in it.

400 meters of magnificent views. This is perhaps the best way to describe the Louis Promenade which is situated along Yefe Nof Street in Haifa. Tourists, visitors from out of the city and also locals who desire some quiet time, walk along this promenade which was built in the beginning of 2000. It has many benches, pergolas and cultivated vegetation, but beyond all of these the views of the Haifa bay area with all of its boats and docks, and of the cities of Acre and Naharia and even of Rosh HaNikra and Mount Hermon, make this promenade one of the best ones in all of Israel. It is pretty here at all hours, but the highlight is in the hours of the early evening, a little before and a little after sunset. Night time also provides a spectacular show. From the promenade area there are the Haifa stair paths which will bring you eventually to the lower part of the city.

A magnificent complex of structures and gardens of the world center of the Bahai Faith located on the slopes of Mount Carmel. This structure is the most prominent and famous architectural monument in the city of Haifa and it has quickly become one of the city’s characteristic symbols. From the golden domed Bahai Shrine there is a magnificent panoramic view of the city, the Galilee mountains and the Mediterranean Sea and to both sides of the Shrine are the Bahai Gardens built out of 19 terraces of gardens, which are sculptures into Mount Carmel and are hanging from the top of the mountain and down to its base, featuring fountains and graveled paths. The hanging gardens create a pattern of colors and flowers which suits the natural beauty of the Carmel and the sound of the flowing water covers the noise of the city. At the center of the Gardens is the Shrine of the Bahai, the resting place of the Prophet-Herald of the Bahai Faith. Beside the Gardens, the complex includes also four structures arranged in the shape of an ark which include, the Seat of the Universal House of Justice, the Seat of the International Teaching Center, the Center for the Study of the Sacred Texts and the International Bahai Archives.
