It arrives from Lebanon, flows around the West Galilee and pours into the sea near Rosh HaNikra. In its path, Betzet stream offers shaded banks characterized by a thick Mediterranean grove, remains of gristmills, high cliffs, small caves and many hideout places. Until a few years ago it flowed proudly, but these days it is dry during most of the year due to the over drawing of its water. Whoever wants to see some water here has to come here between the end of December and the end of March. On the other hand, even when it is dry this is a beautiful and shaded channel wonderful for an easy family hike. One can also add to the hike the adjacent Nahal Sarach (Sarach stream). Access through Ayalon kibbutz from road number 899.
