Even though it is mainly characterized by businesses and not cultural places, Bograshov Street is considered to be one of the most interesting streets in Tel Aviv. Beyond the fact that this is an important traffic line from the center of Tel Aviv toward the Mediterranean Sea in the west, Bograshov Street has received a reputation of offering trendy and interesting fashion stores, some of which are in a somewhat alternative style. Bograshov Street, which was built in the beginning of the 1920s and is named after Haim Bograshov, also includes the loveliest cafés. These serve for an excellent break after a clothes shopping spree. On the western end of Bograshov Street, not far from London Square, one can find building number 5, in which lived Rachel the Poetess toward the end of her life near the tall palm trees which were planted especially for her.
