Bokek Stream

Located in the Judean Desert, Bokek Stream is a real treat for hike lovers and families who are interested in a short and easy trip in the desert which is also a comprehensive one in including all the best that the desert has to offer: vast mountainous spaces, stream flora and water. This is an oasis which is defined as a nature reserve but has no fences, gates and cash registers. Bokek Stream is considered to be relatively short (about 15 kilometers) and it pours into the Dead Sea in the Ein Bokek hotels area. A trip in Bokek Stream during the winter and spring includes a lot of water for those of you who like a good dipping. It also includes two fairly high waterfalls as well as two springs: Ein Bokek and Ein Noit. Bokek Stream offers a short trail (about 2 kilometers) that is suitable for families and includes a canyon, walking in water and other treats. Please note that during floods it is prohibited to enter the stream but it is possible to watch the water near the Bokek Stream estuary (as well as from near the high waterfall).
Arrival at Bokek Stream: there is a sign which directs to the stream on the western side of road number 90, opposite of the Ein Bokek hotels area.
