The most northern beach in Tel Aviv, touching on the beaches of Herzliya, is a well-kept and friendly beach for families and for individuals. HaTzuk Beach has two entrances- one to the north near the apartments hotel Colony-Mandarin and the other to the south near the Sea and Sun apartment complex. HaTzuk Beach offers sports facilities, volleyball area, lawns, toilets and showers and to the north a shaded playground. There are also two lovely cafés here and one can rent parasols and chairs. Toward the evening, many people come out here for a run or a walk on the beach. The entrance is free for Tel Aviv’s residents and children under the age of 13 do not need to pay. Parking is free as well. Above the beach there is a promenade with benches and lawns which connects between the two parts of the beach. In the southern part of the beach there are small water pools that children love to play in. Summertime Saturdays are fairly busy here. The northern part of the beach is handicap accessible. Under the right conditions, many wind surfers and wave surfers arrive here as well. Recently, HaTzuk Beach was declared one of the leading beaches in Israel by the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
