This long, familiar and loved beach is one of Israel’s leading beached according to a survey which was done by the Israeli Ministry of Environmental Protection, which took into account criteria such as: cleanliness, facilities, public opinion, handicap accessibility and water quality. Above the Dado Beach there is a long promenade with a bicycle path, a foot path, restaurants, cafés and benches to rest on. Along the promenade there are lawns and flower planters that are currently being renovated. There are four lifeguard towers at the Dado Beach and near the northern one there is handicap parking. There are also handicap accessible toilets and showers here and a convenient handicap access to the beach. The Dado Beach also offers an area for folk dancing, an amphitheater for summer events and even a sweet small pool for toddlers. The entrance to the Dado Beach is free and on Saturdays there is plentiful parking. One can have a BBQ at the southern section of this beach at the end of the long promenade. Dado Beach itself offers numerous shades for its visitors.
