A study center for Seminarians in a very impressive and beautiful modern architectural structure near the top of the Mount of Beatitudes, a kilometer and a half from Chorazin. The structure of Domus Galilaeae, or House of Galilee, has three levels and it looks over the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee. The structure is covered with Florentine gray stone, "pietra serena", brought here from the quarries of Florence, Italy. The visitors are welcomed by a great Neo-Roman gate and a large entrance hall with leather couches. Short tours are provided free of charge by volunteers. The tours go through the upper level, where the magnificent Conference Center is located – a round room with big windows- which serves for international conferences and offers a few stations for simultaneous interpretation and a great balcony which looks over the Sea of Galilee, a church for the holding of Mass and a chapel with the shape of a Chalice, a library and an impressive open corridor with columns.
