The Technion's Ecological Garden

The Technion's Ecological Garden in Haifa is defined as a green gem in a modern technological world. And indeed, there is nothing like orchards, pools, herb beds and other things that are good for the soul for escaping everything that has to do with our busy days. The Technion's Ecological Garden spreads over about 20 dunams and it includes areas that differ from one another in character: ecological systems, natural phenomena and habitats. The Technion's Ecological Garden was founded in the beginning of the 19080s and its visitors are exposed to a variety of environmental and ecological ideas, which include coping with a shortage in water, narrowing open areas and more. The Technion's Ecological Garden, which is located near the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, combines a Mediterranean grove, orchard trees, water pools and more. One can tour at the Technion's Ecological Garden independently or book a guided tour. If you choose to go independently make sure that you have the Garden’s map with you.

Arrival at the Technion's Ecological Garden: form the Technion's main gate go onto the left road. At the first round plaza turn left, and at the second turn take the right and park.
