Sacher Park is the largest municipal park in Jerusalem. This fact together with its location in the center of the city makes it very popular for Jerusalemites as well as for visitors who want to escape the holy atmosphere of the city and its serious looking walls into a pleasant green lung. The Sacher Park, which was created in 1965 and is named after the Jewish-British businessman Harry Sacher, is filled with everything that has to do with popular sports: Basketball court and football field, walking, running and bicycle trails, rollerblades arena, open air fitness and amusement facilities and many vast lawns with picnic areas.
Arrival at the Sacher Park: through 1 Ben-Zvi Yitzhak Avenue.
