On the Southern Coastal Plane, between Yad Mordechai Junction and the kibbutz of Or HaNer, on a limestone ridge about 100 meters high above sea level, is this nature reserve, which is nice during most of the year, but especially lovely during the winter and spring. It is not very popular, which means that you get to enjoy its thousands of dunams without running into too many people. Sometimes it seems like a great meadow, at other times it reveals the limestone underneath it, and most of the time it offers many low hills and fun secret corners. Various kinds of bushes and cypress, sycamore and Jujube trees complete the pastoral picture. This might be another reason why many bicycle riders have made this reserve into a preferred destination. At the end of winter and the beginning of spring the anemones paint everything in red, and a sense of blessed harmony surrounds the reserve. Arrival through Gvar'am kibbutz.
