Haifa’s clear Cable Car connects between the seashore Bat Galim Promenade and the Stella Maris lookout which is located on the Mount Carmel ridge. The ride is fairly short (only five minutes) but during that time you can enjoy a bird's-eye view over the wonderful scenes of the Mount Carmel slopes and the Haifa Bay. One can purchase tickets in both directions and if you are in a sportive mood you might want to climb up on the cable car and climb down the stairs all the way to Me’arat Eliyahu (Elijah’s cave).
