Hamat Tiberias (Hamat Tveria) National Park has a concentration of seventeen health springs that flow at a temperature of 60 C and include about a hundred natural minerals which possess medicinal properties that are unique and exclusive to this place. The properties of this site were already known two thousand years ago. Today, this site is a national park which besides the health baths also includes an elaborate synagogue which was revealed at the beginning of the 1920s, with a seven-branched marble Menorah which is today on display at the Israel Museum. The highlight in this synagogue is a mosaic floor, the most ancient of the mosaic floors in Israel. Also, at the entrance to the park is the Hamam Suleiman Museum, which is dedicated to the display of a Turkish bath which was active here and other archeological finds which were found in the area.
