Here is an example for an excellent combination between a walking/running trail for those who like to exercise, and a lovely forest trail within nature which includes beautiful lookouts over the nearby Lowlands and Jerusalem Mountains. The Eitan Mountain Trail was planned first and foremost as a sports trail for the residents that live in the area. And thus you can find here people who walk, run or ride at almost every hour of the day. And everything is within nature with the views of the Sorek and Tzova streams as well as the Tayasim (Pilots) Mountain and the nearby Ein Sataf terraces. The Eitan Mountain Trail itself stretches along about 8 kilometers and the ascents and descents in it are fairy moderate. From the Eitan Mountain Trail there is also an easy and quick access to the Sataf Springs area. One can arrive at the Eitan Mountain Trail through road number 395.
