Be’er Milka Overnight Campground in the Western Negev is located not far from the border with Egypt, a surreal twilight zone that provides a wonderful feeling of escape. The Be’er Milka Overnight Campground, located near the small moshav Be’er Milka, is a starting point for trips in Lavan Stream, the Nitzana area and other interesting trails. Here you will get a lovely small grove of tamarisk trees, a few picnic tables and an open sandy area. Quite bare, charming and wonderful. Nearby there is an ancient well with a lot of stories connected with it. The Be’er Milka Overnight Campground has no flowing water (at least not for people, only for the local herds) and no toilets, showers or electricity. It is accessible to vehicles though, open throughout the year and free. Take under consideration that the nights at Be’er Milka can be very cold, also during the relatively warm spring or autumn.
Arrival at Be’er Milka Overnight Campground: from road number 211 turn north to moshav Be’er Milka. Pass by it and continue two more kilometers to the north and follow the signs that point toward a dirt road going east.
