The Ada Canyon and Be’erot Ada (Ada Wells) that are located in the Arava offer a wonderful destination for desert lovers, but for those who want to enhance the experience even more, it is recommended to consider an overnight stay at the very basic Be’erot Ada Overnight Campground. The canyon is reachable by foot or an off-road vehicle only. The Be’erot Ada Overnight Campground offers no water taps, toilets, showers or electricity. Due to the local topography, the guests are "protected” from the sunlight in the first part of the morning. On the other hand, when it is windy here, you will feel it well. The stay is free of charge. Please note: the Be’erot Ada Overnight Campground is located within a military firing range and a visit must be prearranged with the IDF’s Southern Command (telephone: 972-8-9902926).
Arrival at Be’erot Ada Overnight Campground: from road number 40, about 10 kilometer to the north-west of Tzihor Junction, turn west according to the sign toward Ada Stream (between the 49 and 50 kilometer marking). On foot or by an off-road vehicle, you will need to use a trail map (number 17). The campground is marked on the map and is accessible through the red trail marking.
