HaChance HaAharon (the Last Chance) Overnight Campground, located in the Judean Desert, has gone through some changes and today it is a lovely roadside restaurant near Almog Junction, that offers next to it a pleasant intimate campground. And all of this is situated relatively close to road number 1, which goes down from Jerusalem to the northern part of the Dead Sea – a matter of a few tens of meters (and in other words, this is not very far from civilization). HaChance HaAharon Overnight Campground offers electricity, water taps, toilets, showers, vehicle access and a restaurant. HaChance HaAharon Overnight Campground is open throughout the year. Entrance fee.
Arrival at HaChance HaAharon Overnight Campground: on road number 1, about 400 meters east of Almog Junction, on the road’s northern side (there is a sign). Turn carefully as this is a busy road.
