Oded Stream Overnight Campground (also called Be’erot Oded), located in the Negev, is another example for a secluded campground, situated in the middle of nowhere, which allows its guest to spend their time (probably) alone in the desert. No noise, electric power lines, roads and other matters related to civilization. This also means that you will need to bring water with you, as there are no water taps here. There are also no toilets, showers or electricity here. The relatively small Oded Stream Overnight Campground is accessible only to off-road vehicles (or on foot\by bicycle). It is open throughout the year and is free of charge. Oded Stream Overnight Campground offers access to some of the most beautiful treks in the area, including Borot Lutz.
Arrival at Oded Stream Overnight Campground: the campground is located in the western part of the Ramon Crater (Makhtesh Ramon), next to the Oded Stream and about 1.3 kilometers north of the Be’erot Oded site. Arriving with an off-road vehicle requires the relevant trail map. The campground is marked on the map (map number 18).
