Timna Park, located in the Arava region, needs no introduction. It is a wonderful geological park that includes magnificent natural phenomena – sculptures made by nature. And next to these there is a lovely manmade lake and thought provoking displays, and various activities are offered here from time to time. But Timna Park can also serve those who would like to connect directly with nature, rather than stay at the Eilat hotels. Here, next to the lake, you can raise the tents that you brought with you. The Timna Park Overnight Campground offers toilets, showers, electricity, water taps and vehicle accessibility. It is open throughout the year (although it is recommended to call in advance and enquire regarding vacancy). Entrance fee.
Arrival at Timna Park Overnight Campground: on the Arava Road (road number 90), about 25 kilometers north of Eilat.
