Hurvat Burgin (Burgin Ruin), which is located in the Adulam Park, is an archeological site that is situated at the height of 430 meters above sea level, next to additional ruins, such as Hurvat Midras and Hurvat Etri. According to archeologists, here was once found the Jewish settlement of Kfar Bish, which fell into the hands of the Romans. The origin of the name of this place is in Arabic (Burgin included two fortresses. In time one of them fell into ruin). From its top one can view Tel Azekah, the Hebrom Mountains, Gush Etzion and everything in between. In the area of Hurvat Burgin one can find well preserved caves from the time of Bar Kokhba.
