The Yitzhak Rabin Center in Tel Aviv is a well-know institution, but the museum which has opened in it in 2010 is not as well-known. This museum tells about the life of Yitzhak Rabin, starting with the 1920s and until his murder in 1995, while serving as Israel’s Prime Minister and Defense Minister. Naturally, Rabin’s personal story is tightly connected with the story of Zionism, the Israeli State in-the-Making and the history of the State of Israel. This connection is expressed well in the various exhibitions. In every exhibition space in the Israeli Museum at the Yitzhak Rabin Center another angle, period and different splits in the Israeli society are represented, and the visitors get to experience all of this through sophisticated means. 8 Chaim Levanon Street, Tel Aviv.
