The Lavnun – Halukim – Kursi Beach is composed out of three beaches that were joined together. The Halukim (Pebbles) Beach, as befitting its name, is filled with pebbles and one needs to wear sandals in order to dip in it. The Lavnun – Halukim – Kursi Beach offers beautiful and abundant vegetation of large Ficus trees and Poinciana trees and next to it there are vast lawns with shades. The Lavnun Beach, which was once considered as the young people’s beach, is an organized beach with lawns and one of the spawning areas of the small Lavnun (Bleak) fish which is common in the Sea of Galilee. The Kursi Beach is named after the nearby Byzantine Church. The Lavnun – Halukim – Kursi Beach is a declared beach and it offers lifeguard services. One can raise a tent at the Lavnun – Halukim – Kursi Beach and have a BBQ. The Lavnun – Halukim – Kursi Beach is located three kilometers to the north of Ein Gev.
