Mineral Beach

Near the kibbutz of Mitzpe Shalem (Shalem Lookout), in the northern part of the Dead Sea, is one of the most well-kept beaches that the slowly disappearing Dead Sea has to offer. This is a clean, organized and very pleasant beach. Beside having what the other beaches of the Dead Sea have, it also includes a shaded sulfur pool, the temperature of which is 39 C, plenty of the famous local black mud for applying on one’s body, and even a center for health treatments and various massages (to be booked in advance). The cafeteria is pretty nice, the showers and changing rooms are clean and there are also storage compartments for your belongings. And yes, the Dead Sea is also a part of this, silent and sparkling in the sun light. Arrival through road number 90.
