The most interesting cultural center of the city is located inside a beautiful structure at the Jaffa Port, in front of Warehouse 1, and as its name attests, this is a place for experiencing things in a different way. "Nalaga’at" ("Please Touch”) is a cultural center of the deaf and blind, who operate a café, restaurant and theater. The "Nalaga’at" ("Please Touch”) Center, the purpose of which is to bring the visitors closer to the world of the deaf and blind, offers special sensory experiences. At the "Nalaga’at" Center’s Café Kapish the waiters are deaf and they will communicate with you with the help of sign language. At the "Nalaga’at" Center’s BlackOut Restaurant, the waiters are blind and they will serve your courses in complete darkness. At the "Nalaga’at" Center’s Theater the actors are deaf and blind. The "Nalaga’at" Center also offers interesting workshops, such as a cheese and wine one which takes place in the dark and a pottery workshop which also takes place in the dark.
