Nordau Beach is usually called the separate or religious beach, as this beach that is adjacent to the Metsitsim Beach is dedicated to the religious community. Nordau Beach is surrounded by a high wall and there are special days that are dedicated either for men or for women- Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays are for women only and Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are for men only. Then women enter the water with clothes or robes and there are non-religious women who prefer to come here as well on the days that are dedicated to women. On Fridays before the Sabbath starts the religious people leave and on Saturdays the entrance to the Nordau Beach is allowed for both women and men. The Nordau Beach is sometimes less busy than the other beaches. The entrance to the Nordau Beach is free but one needs to pay for parking. There is a small kiosk here, a few sports facilities and a small playground. One can rent chairs here.
