Rothschild Boulevard

In the summer of 2003 UNESCO declared parts of the city of Tel Aviv as a World Heritage Site due to the International style of architecture (Bauhaus) which characterizes many of its buildings. And THE place in which to raise one’s head and enjoy the architecture is Rothschild Boulevard, which has become a real "city”. Note for example the building on the corner of Nachmani Street or building number 84 (Angel House) and of course building number 96 (Friedman House), on one of the balconies of which stand sculptured figures made by the artist Ofra Zimbalista. But beyond the architectural interest, Rothschild Boulevard has become one of the trendiest areas in Tel Aviv during the day, due to its many financial businesses, as well as during the night due to its entertainment areas, cafés and restaurants. Old Rothschild Boulevard, which started its life already in 1910, in the days of "Achuzat Bait” (which became Tel Aviv) offer a leisurely walk and an enjoyable and relaxed cosmopolitan atmosphere, despite being in the midst of the busy city.
