Tel Goded (Goded Mound), which is considered to be the highest mound in the Britannia Park, was inhabited over long periods in history due to its strategic nature: its great height and location, between the Coastal Plain and the Mountains of Jerusalem. It is true that there are archeological remains from Biblical times and from the Roman period here, but those who come to Tel Goded usually look for an underground hideout. This is because of the hiding tunnels system that was dug here during the time of Bar Kokhba. On beautiful Saturdays Tel Goded is filled with visitors who come here with the purpose of crawling in these ancient tunnels, walking around in the Bell Caves and breathing some fresh air at the top of Tel Goded, in front of the impressive view which is seen from it. One can arrive at Tel Goded through road number 38, about a kilometer to the north of Nehusha Junction.
