Tel Hadid (Hadid Mound), much like other hills and mountains around the country, make us realize how small Israel is. One long look and half a head turn and you have seen a great part of the Coastal Plain and the Judean Lowland regions. And, by the way, Tel Hadid (Hadid Mound) rises only to the height of 147 meters above sea level. The archeological site of Tel Hadid (Hadid Mound), which is located within the area of the Ben-Shemen Forest, was inhabited already at the Late Bronze Age, and today you will find here the remains of agricultural installations, such as wine presses and water cisterns. At the time of the Biblical Joshua, Hadid was even a city that was surrounded by a wall. However, even with the impressive history and archeology of the area, one should really come here for the view. And the lookout balcony here provides a great stage for it. It is thus recommended to pass here a long relaxed while. Arrival through road number 444, not far from the monument for the Israeli Logistics Corps.
