Kerem HaTeimanim (The Yemenites Vineyard) On the not very clear border between the south and the center of Tel Aviv, near the vibrant Carmel Market, is the neighborhood of Kerem HaTeimanim (The Yemenites Vineyard).

Bar Giora The moshav of Bar Giora is situated between Beit Shemesh and Jerusalem, at the height of 700 meters above sea level.	Neve Ilan Neve Ilan, which is in the Mountains of Jerusalem, not far from Abu Gosh, was actually established twice.
Nachlaot Nachlaot neighborhood in Jerusalem is actually a cluster of old smaller neighborhoods which were built since the mid 19th century as a part of the process of building outside the Old City’s walls.	Rehavia Neighborhood The neighborhood of Rehavia was built in Jerusalem in the beginning of the 1920s and it includes street names of Jewish sages and poets from the Golden Age of the Jewish culture in Spain.
The Talbiya Neighborhood The beautiful and well-kept neighborhood of Talbiya, which is located to the south of the neighborhood of Rehavia, served the rich Arab residents of Jerusalem until 1948.	Yemin Moshe The old neighborhood of Yemin Moshe, named after the philanthropist Moses Montefiore- who encouraged Jewish settlement outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem - was established in 1894.
Abu Gosh In the midst of the Mountains of Jerusalem, about ten kilometers west of the Holy City, is Abu Gosh, an Arab village of around 6,000 people.	Me’ah She’arim Neighborhood What was life like in the Jewish towns of 19th century Eastern Europe? It is hard to know, but a tour inside the neighborhood of Me’ah She’arim in Jerusalem may reveal a few of these historical scenes.
The Ein Kerem Neighborhood Ein Kerem is a kind of an urban bubble, which seems to take one to different times, and some places in it look like they were taken from Biblical times: a small village situated among photogenic agricultural terraces and rich orchards.

Ma’agan Michael Kibbutz Ma’agan Michael, located on the coastline near Zikhron Ya'akov, is one of the most beautiful in Israel, but its main attraction is its fishponds that are situated along the Carmel shore, which have become a popular bird watching site.	Binyamina Binyamina is named after the Baron Edmond Benjamin James de Rothschild and it is the first town which was founded following World War I.
Daliyat al-Karmel Daliyat al-Karmel is a colorful, vibrant and welcoming Druze town high up on Mount Carmel.	Zikhron Ya'akov Zikhron Ya'akov, the colorful town which is located on the Carmel mountain range, is famous for its picturesque Pedestrian Street and special atmosphere.
Ussefiya (or Isfiya) The Druze village of Ussefiya (or Isfiya), with its magnificent tradition, is situated among green hills and a beautiful landscape.	Ein Hod On a hill at the foot of Mount Carmel, is the picturesque Artists Village of Ein Hod which looks over the sea.
Bat Shlomo This small old village is in the process of being declared a “National Site”, among other reasons, for its excellent preservation, which creates a strong feeling of visiting the past.

Katzrin The special location of the town of Katzrin at the center of the Golan Heights region, allows access into many nature reserves, historic and archeological sites and flowing streams.

Majdal Shams The mountain village of Majdal Shams, situated high up in the Golan Heights near the Hermon, is the largest of the four Druze villages of the Golan Heights and the highest not only among them but also among all of the settled areas in the country- there is a reason why its name means "tower of sun".

Kadita You say “alternative” - you say Kadita.	Rosh Pina Rosh Pina (meaning cornerstone) is a beautiful town located at the foot of Mount Canaan (Cna'an) and the city of Safed.
Metula The town of Metula is located in the northern edge of the Galilee Panhandle.	Yesod HaMa'ala In the Southern part of the Hula Valley, where once was the south-western shore of the Hula Lake, is the pastoral town of Yesod HaMa'ala, parts of which seem to have remained frozen in time, which is actually the secret of its great charm.
Safed (Tzfat) The city of Safed (Tzfat), the capital of the Upper Galilee region, is the highest city in Israel.	Peki'in Even though officially Peki'in is considered today a Regional Council, everyone still considers it a village.

Acre Acre is one of the world’s oldest port cities, and in 2001 it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Nahariya Nahariya is the northernmost coastal city in Israel and it is considered to be the capital of the Western Galilee region.

Caesarea Caesarea, the ancient port city, is one of the most impressive National Parks in the country.

Atlit To the north of Atlit there is a detainee camp that the British built in an old military base during their rule here for the Jewish illegal immigrants who tried to escape Nazi persecution in Europe.

Mazkeret Batya The small and special town of Mazkeret Batya was founded in 1883 and was first named “Ekron”.	Neve Shalom The special village of Neve Shalom, which is all about the coexistence of Jews and Arabs, was established near Latrun in 1967.
Bnei Atarot (Wilhelma) The lovely moshav of Bnei Atarot, which is located not far from the Ben Gurion Airport, was founded in the summer of 1948 where the previous German Colony of Wilhelma used to be.

Bethlehem of Galilee Bethlehem of Galilee is one of the more picturesque places in the area of the valleys and perhaps even in the whole of Israel and it is where a Templer Colony was established in 1906 in the heart of a gall oak forest.	Nahalal The chance to see Nahalal from the air is not high, but whoever does will find that it is shaped like a circle.
Kfar Tavor (Tavor Village) Between Afula and Tiberias, at the foot of Mount Tabor (Tavor), is Kfar Tavor (Tavor Village), which was established in 1901 and was first called Mas'ha after the nearby Arab village.	Nazareth Nazareth is a sacred city for Christians, as according to Christian belief it was here that the Archangel Gabriel announced to Mary of her conception through the Holy Spirit and it was here that Jesus lived through childhood and adolescence.

Kibbutz Lotan Kibbutz Lotan is situated about 10 kilometers north of Yotvata, in front of the Edom Mountains and at the feet of the cliff ridges of the southern Negev region.

Mitzpe Ramon Mitzpe Ramon is situated in the Central Negev Mountain region on the edge of the Ramon Crater (Makhtesh Ramon), which is the largest Nature Reserve in Israel.
